"You Need Music" offers the unique opportunity to play at Carnegie Hall
for children who put their effort in learning music without a goal to become professionals, but for the sheer love of performing.

* One Round/Audition

* Every contestant will receive in-depth written evaluation from each judge

NEWS !

Judges are assigned to evaluate competitors according to particular characters from Greek Mythology. Their judgments are based on unique features of 3 Olympic Gods:

Zeus - Justice, Universal obedience to the Rules. Criteria: Adherence to Dynamics, Appropriate Tempo, and Remarks.
Poseidon - Strict, Unpredictable, and Quick to rage.Criteria: Technical clarity, Text clarity, Memory consistency.
Athena - Supportive, Persuasive and Intelligent. Criteria:Persuasiveness, Intelligence and Confidence of Performance.

This combination of approaches helps judges to identify and balance different features of the performance AND to select children that can present their best work on stage.
